After postponing the Hermanus substation maintenance in October, Eskom has notified residents that the previously 12-hour scheduled maintenance will be on 25 January 2024. The alternative date is 1 February 2024.

The outage will take place from 06:00 to 18:00 and will affect the following areas:

Gansbaai, Stanford, Hermanus, Sandbaai and a few streets in Onrus.
